Ask the Gynecologist
Dr. Christine Tyndall, MD

Member Since May 2001

Women often don’t get all of the health care information they might need from their medical practitioner. Time constraints and reticence can prevent women from asking important healthcare questions and women with disabilities may face additional obstacles in seeking information. Chris Tyndall was a partner in a large obstetrical and gynecological practice in Pittsburgh for many years. In 2002, she won the physician of the year award from the Allegheny Medical Society. To provide women with the chance to ask gynecological questions with complete confidentiality, Chris has developed the Ask the Gynecologist Web Site. It offers accurate medical information in an easy to understand format. Users have the time and privacy they need to get answers to their questions and concerns. For more information or if you would like to ask a question, please visit http://www.geocities.com/askthegynecologist.

Porcelain Wedding Bouquets
Jill Moucheron
Member Since March 2003

We wanted brides to have bouquets, wedding party and reception flowers that would last a lifetime. We found the answer when we discovered the method of creating flowers with our lightweight, refined porcelain. We then added crystals and pearls for an extra touch of sparkle and elegance. Our porcelain flowers are handmade with our own slightly supple, lightweight, refined porcelain. Our designs are unique works of art that can be cherished for a lifetime and handed down from generation to generation. Each petal, of every flower, is delicately and meticulously shaped by hand. No molds are used to create our flowers. All flowers are handmade in the USA. For more information, please visit http://www.porcelainroses.com.

Bob’s Ceramic Studio
Elaine Glassner
Member Since April 2002

Elaine Glassner began creating ceramic figurines as a hobby, and soon found a great love and talent for the craft. In 1990, using spare family financial resources, she and her husband began buying kilns, paints and glazes, a potter’s wheel, and clay molds, forming “Bob’s Ceramics” in Etna. While Bob did the prep work, Elaine started holding ceramics classes and developed a thriving retail clientele. She holds classes both in-studio and out, such as Mother’s Day Out, Special Ed classes for CCAC, and in the summer for groups at area campgrounds. Seasonal objects are maintained which customers may finish in the studio or purchase as a completed item. She is also beginning a new service creating stained glass decorative and useful objects.
